Fourth Partner Energy Is India’s Best Solar Energy Company for Onsite & Offsite Projects; Ranks #1 In Corporate PPAs across both categories In JMK’s Solar Report Card (2021).


In 2021, about 7.7 GW of utility-scale solar capacity and another 2.7 GW of rooftop solar capacity were added in India. The top three states where maximum solar capacity was added were Rajasthan at 4.4 GW, Gujarat at 1.3 GW and Uttar Pradesh.

Fourth Partner Energy ranked as the top Solar Energy Developer, that commissioned maximum capacity under the corporate offsite PPA model followed by Cleantech Solar and Hinduja Group.

Fourth Partner Energy also emerged #1 Rooftop Solar Company for period having setup maximum projects under the corporate onsite model for this period, followed by Amplus Solar and Tata Solar.

India added 2,196 MW of rooftop solar capacity in 2021, an increase of 62% over the previous year, which was plagued by the pandemic. Total Rooftop Solar capacity in the country as of December 2021 is at 8,988 MW.

Key market trends include pick up in residential demand, increase in average C&I installation size and increase in system costs.

Fourth Partner Energy ranked India’s Top Solar Energy company, in the Project Developers category.



MERCOM’s India Solar Open Access Market Report (2021) – Fourth Partner Energy ranks India’s Top Solar Company [Open Access Installer]


In 2021, 1.2 GW of Open Access Solar was installed, a growth of 222% YoY, which saw a capacity addition of 383 MW. In Q4 alone, 298 MW of Solar Open Access capacity was added.

As of December, the cumulative OA capacity for Solar in India crossed the 5 GW mark. The top 5 states contributed to 80% of all OA capacity addition in the year, led by Uttar Pradesh.

Fourth Partner Energy emerged as the largest Open Access Solar installer for the year.
