Site Engineer – Wind & BOP – Open Access plant (Asset Management)


Location:

Sites in Karnataka / Tamil Nadu

Qualification & Experience:

  • Diploma with 10+ Years Experience
  • B.E. / B.Tech. with 7+ Years Experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • O & M management of Open Access Wind Plants emphasizing on BOP (Balance of Plant) or Power Evacuation facilities.
  • Proper take-over of Plant from Project Execution team / Contractor.
  • Ensure proper Plant level monitoring of BOP.
  • Ensure O&M contractual obligation thru timely intervention / interaction with OEM / Service provider.
  • Monitoring of Preventive & Corrective maintenance activities.
  • Material & Spares management – Ensure availability of budgeted spares at site / plant warehouse.
  • Management of Testing & Calibration of plant equipment as per Regulatory norms.
  • Maintain & update related documentation including ERP.
  • Co-ordination and interaction with OA project development / Execution teams.
  • Ensure all Statutory & Regulatory compliance for FP or SPV & deployed vendors, maintain / update Legal Register as per ESG requirement.
  • Support / co-ordinate quality & other audits.
  • Follow EHS / ESG guidelines / initiatives & establish systems, maintain / update records (including but not limited to PTW, LOTO system, use of PPEs, JSAs, Toolbox talks etc.)

Key Skills:

  • Effective site management skills, organizational skills, and the ability to manage vendors & other stakeholders.
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships and communicate clearly and effectively at different levels (both internally and externally).
  • Preferably have good proficiency over local language.
