Fourth Partner Energy raises Series-A Round from Marquee Investors

Fourth Partner Energy (4PEL), a company focused on Distributed Solar Power, has raised about USD 2 million. The company on Wednesday said Infuse Ventures, a sustainability and clean technology fund, led this round of investment. There was also a commitment from Fourth Partner’s existing investors – The Chennai Angels (TCA).

The company also received a commitment under the Seed Capital Assistance Facility (SCAF) implemented through the United Nations Environment Programme and the Asian Development Bank, a release said.

Fourth Partner Energy: Exploring new ground

Officials at Manak Bhawan, headquarters of the Bureau of Indian Standards, in New Delhi proudly show off the rooftop facility that was recently installed. The 45-kw system, with backup, takes care of outdoor lighting and saves on the electricity bill.

This is one of the projects in the portfolio of  Energy Limited (4PEL), a Hyderabad-based company aiming to both harness renewable sources of power and create awareness about these. The company has secured Rs 3 crore from Chennai Angels.

“We are named so because the fourth partner in any of our projects is the customer. We aim to enhance the quality of human life while conserving our planet,” said Vivek Subramanian, executive director.

Chennai Angels backs Fourth Partner Energy

The (TCA) last week announced an investment in Fourth Partner Energy, a Hyderabad-based company focused on distributed solar power. This round of investment was led by investor members, Shankar V,and Narayanan R. The details were not disclosed.

was founded in 2010 by Vivek Subramanian, Saif Dhorajiwala and Vikas Saluguti. The company has completed 300 solar installations across the country and provides end-to-end solutions including design, turnkey execution, servicing and financial structuring of captive solar assets.

Chennai Angels invests Rs 3 crore in Fourth Partner Energy

NEW DELHI: The Chennai Angels today said it has invested Rs 3 crore in Fourth Partner Energy (4PEL), a Hyderabad based company focussed on distributed solar power.

This round of funding will help 4PEL enhance its capabilities, a release said.

Fourth Partner Energy was founded in 2010 by Vivek Subramanian, Saif Dhorajiwala and Vikas Saluguti. The company has completed over 300 solar installations across the country with marquee public and private sector companies.

Solar power products firm Fourth Partner Energy raises funding from Chennai Angels

The Chennai Angels (TCA), a network of private angel investors, has invested an undisclosed amount in Hyderabad-based solar power products firm Fourth Partner Energy Pvt Ltd, according to a press release.

The investment round was led by TCA investor members, Shankar V, Kayar Raghavan and Narayanan R.

Founded in 2010 by Vivek Subramanian, Saif Dhorajiwala and Vikas Saluguti, Fourth Partner Energy has completed over 300 solar installations across the country with marquee public and private sector companies. While Subramanian and Saluguti are alumni of Insead (France), Dhorajiwala graduated from IIM-Calcutta.

The company builds, develops and manages a portfolio of de-centralized solar power assets in India by positioning itself as full-services RESCO (Renewable Energy Services Company).
